After trying to run back and forth between the two locations, Unfortunately, we’re moving all the artists to Birmingham Location and closing the Shelby Studio. It was becoming too much of a hassle and taking a toll on our team.
We understand that this may come as a huge inconvenience to a lot of our clients close to the studio, but we are able to serve our clients better at the Birmingham Location.
Sorry for the inconvenience. Looking forward to serving you better.

Microblading and Eyeliner Permanent Makeup FAQ
How long it take to recover from Microblading?
There’s virtually no downtime with the microblading procedure. It takes approximately 7-10 Days for your eyebrows to heal. After the permanent makeup procedure, your eyebrows will be a bit darker than the healed color, but after about 3 days they will lighten up. It takes about 4 weeks to see the full results of your procedure. Patience is key.
Does Microblading Hurt?
We use a topical anesthetic (numbing) cream prior to the procedure, which helps make your procedure comfortable and virtually painless.
How much does Microblading Cost
The price varies based on the artist and any current specials way may run. Usually, the price for the initial procedure is $450 and touch-ups are $75 and up.
Is eyebrow Microblading permanent?
Microblading, shading, lip tattoo, eyeliner tattoo, and lip liner are all semi-permanent, which means they can last anywhere from 1 year to 3 years. We use pigments, which are formulated with natural compounds and don’t contain any metals, unlike regular tattoo ink.
Can I shower after Microblading?
We strongly suggest you don’t shower for at least 24 hours after your permanent makeup procedure. After 24 hours it is safe to take a shower as long as you follow these directions:
- Use a barrier or sealer such as coconut oil or Aquaphor that help repel the water. Put it on the eyebrows before going into the shower, then you can wash it off when done with the shower.
- Make sure the shower stream does not hit your face, turn your back to the shower stream
- Try to tilt your head back and have the water flow to the back of your head instead of your face
- Keep showers short and colder temperature than you normally use. You want to avoid creating steam in the shower because the heat and water vapors from the steam will open up the pores and cause pigment to escape from the eyebrows.
- When finished with the shower: pad your eyebrows dry, wash away any barrier ointment left over with a clean cotton pad and gentle soap, air dry or blow dry them, and finally apply the ointment you were provided by us.
Can you get Microblading done while pregnant?
We strongly encourage you to wait it out. The rewards are not worth the risks. Although there is no research on the side effects of pigments and permanent makeup related to pregnancy, it’s not worth it.
How often do you do Microblading?
The pigment we use in microblading and other permanent makeup procedures is semi-permanent and lasts anywhere between 1 to 3years. That being said, keep in mind that the pigment will begin to fade within 12 months based on skin condition and how well you maintain your brows. To keep your color fresh, we recommend a touch up every year.
How long does Microblading last on oily skin?
Permanent makeup results on oily skin tend to be less than normal skin. That’s because the natural skin oil helps the body dilute the pigment faster than normal. That being said, they should still last between 6 to 9 months before needing another touchup.
How old do you have to be to get Microblading?
In Michigan, you must be 18 or older to get any form of body art, that includes Microblading and other PMU procedures. You can, however, get a procedure done as young as 16 years old with parent or guardian consent. If parents are bringing in their minors, they need to provide supporting guardianship documents such as birth certificate or guardian court document and a valid state ID.
How do you care for Microblading?
Day 1: Absorb lymph liquid so it doesn’t crust up and form scabs and apply ointment every 3-4 hours.
Days 2-5: Wash gently with mild antibacterial soap every 3-4 hours, air dry and apply ointment
Days 6-7: Repeat same steps as days 2-5, but only do it twice a day; morning and before bedtime.
No scratching, picking or rubbing the area. You need to let them heal naturally.

Avoid anything that will make you sweat excessively for one week; such as exercise, yoga, jacuzzi etc…
No swimming or underwater submerging.

Can you tan after Microblading
You want to avoid tanning altogether for at least 10 days because the heat from the tanning bed will cause you to sweat and lose pigment. After 10 days, if tanning is a major priority for you; you can do so with caution by fully covering the eyebrow area with a towel.
Is it safe to get eyeliner tattoo?
It’s not a tattoo in the traditional sense, it’s permanent makeup. Which means it will fade with time because we use pigments instead of ink. Pigments don’t turn color, unlike regular tattoo inks. The procedure is completely safe.
Is eyeliner tattoo painful?
The permanent eyeliner procedure may be a little uncomfortable because it’s proximity to the eye and we have a natural tendency to twitch. But all of our procedures are virtually painless.
How long do tattoo eyeliner last?
A typical permanent eyeliner tattoo lasts between one to three years based on the color you choose. Touch ups may be required to keep the color looking fresh and natural.
