During this period, the skin will go through various stages of healing, including peeling and flaking. It’s important to follow aftercare instructions to ensure proper healing and color retention.
Touch-ups are usually recommended after the initial healing process to refine the brows.
Microblading is not permanent; it’s a semi-permanent procedure.
Unlike traditional tattoos, microblading pigments are designed to fade over time.
Generally, microblading lasts anywhere from 9 to 30 months, depending on various factors like skin type, lifestyle, and how well the skin holds the pigment.
Periodic touch-ups are recommended to maintain the desired look.
- Microblading: This is a semi-permanent tattooing technique used to create the illusion of fuller brows. It involves using a fine pen with a small blade to add semi-permanent pigment to the skin in fine, hair-like strokes. This technique is ideal for those who want to reconstruct, define, cover gaps, or fill-in over plucked brows. The results typically look very natural. You will see some skin and sparness with microblading.
- Ombre or Shading: Unlike microblading, which creates hair-like strokes, ombre or shading techniques involve a softer, powder-like effect. This method uses a custom tattoo machine to place tiny dots of pigment into the skin, creating a gradient appearance with darker tails and a lighter start to the brows. It’s often chosen by those who prefer a fuller brow look or have skin types not suitable for microblading. This procedure will give you more of a Makeup Look.
People who may not be suitable for microblading include those with very oily skin, certain skin conditions like eczema near the brows, pregnant or nursing women, individuals prone to keloid scarring, those undergoing chemotherapy, and people with chronic conditions like diabetes.
It’s also not recommended for individuals on certain medications, such as blood thinners or Accutane, those with a history of heavy bleeding or allergies to makeup or dyes, and anyone with a compromised immune system.

MICROBLADING HEALING PROCESS (Short Version)
The healing process for microblading is a crucial phase that typically spans about 4 to 6 weeks.
Immediately following the procedure, the eyebrow area may appear darker and more intense; this is normal, and the color will fade to a more natural tone as healing progresses.
During the first week, minor swelling and redness may occur, and it’s essential to avoid getting the area wet, applying makeup, or engaging in activities that induce sweating. As the skin heals, it’s common to experience flaking or scabbing, which should not be picked or scratched to ensure the pigment sets appropriately.
Touch-up sessions may be necessary to refine the shape and color after the initial healing period, ensuring the best possible results for your microbladed brows.

The first few days are scary, but the final results are worth it. “You’re going to like the way you look.” 😉
AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS
Keep clean and dry, do not touch your eyebrows! They may feel tender and appear a little red.
Brows will start developing a thin layer of scab, continue keeping your brows dry and clean.
Apply a rice grain amount of aftercare ointment on each eyebrow with a cotton swab and clean hands, spread a VERY THIN layer of the ointment across the treated area every morning and night.
Brows should not appear greasy, glossy or shiny, if so you used too much, as this can suffocate the skin and delay healing. Never apply ointment on wet or damp tattoo. Continue ointment until your brows are no longer scabbing.
Brows are safe from water. Client may return to normal skincare routines.
Brows will appear very light, after scabs comes off, every week up to 6 weeks color will continue to surface and brows will get darker again

Microblading Eyebrows Maintanance
Getting your eyebrows microbladed is a two-step process, the touch-up appointment 6-8 weeks later is not included in the initial price.
We usually suggest coming in once a year to keep your brows looking sharp and fresh. But we know everyone’s brows fade at different rates, so we offer different touch-up schedules if you need one sooner than a year.
* The cost for touch-ups is based on how long it’s been since your last appointment.
